Berikut ini adalah 10 sikap paradok yang dinyatakan oleh Mihaly:

1.      Creative people have a great deal of physical energy, but they’re also often quiet and at rest.

Yes, I think that could be right. Creative people use their energy to think and make creation. They focus their energy for that. So they have a great deal of physical energy. They need to make trial, try then failed then try again, that would spend a lot of energy. They also observe many things. They are also often quite at rest. Because they feel that they don’t need to spend much energy in this activity. This activity is the time to recharge their energy in order to have fit condition to be more creative.

2.      Creative people tend to be smart yet naive at the same time.

Those 2 characters sometimes happened at the same time in the creative people. Because they have their own thinking and they are hard to be influenced by people. They are tends to be idealist.

3.      Creative people combine playfulness and discipline, or responsibility and irresponsibility.

Yes that’s true. They combine many things. The creativity often comes from combinations. For example, the idea of putting advertisement in front of closet in the public toilet is a great idea. People spend a time not to do anything when they are in the toilet, so they can read the advertisement. The combination between closet and advertisement.

4.      Creative people alternate between imagination and fantasy, and a rooted sense of reality.

Absolutely sir. The creativity often comes from something that are imaginary or fantasy. From impossible to being possible. From those imagination and fantasy, they think how to reach that, though the realization is not 100% similar with their fantasy, but this is closed to. And this is interesting to be closed to the imagination.

5.      Creative people trend to be both extroverted and introverted.

Yes. Because they try to be balanced. They combine the ideas from introvert side and extrovert side.

6.      Creative people are humble and proud at the same time.

That could be true. They are proud of what they did but also they don’t do a euphoria of this. They just keep it and react humbly.

7.      Creative people, to an extent, escape rigid gender role stereotyping.

They don’t like to stereotype something rigid, not flexible. Because with this rigidity, it will forbid them to apply their creative idea which is sometimes unusual things.

8.      Creative people are both rebellious and conservative.

Absolutely rebellious!! Because they always try to think out of the box. Try something new, try something different, though it is unusual. But they are sometimes conservative, to keep the originality of something which is got modification because of their creativity.

9.      Most creative people are very passionate about their work, yet they can be extremely objective about it as well.

Because they are very passionate about their work, they know well about their work. So they are very objective of it. They know their work for the best.

10.  Creative people’s openness and sensitivity often exposes them to suffering and pain, yet also to a great deal of enjoyment.

Yes true. Not all people agree with their thinking. They may also contra with them and react unfavourable. The contra may result to the suffering and pain. But when their idea is realized and succeed, they will get the enjoyment.
